Big news for the Joe T. Robinson community! 🎉
Joe T. Robinson High School and the Joe T. Robinson Freshman Campus are now officially certified as Heart Safe Schools through Project ADAM. ❤️
This achievement reflects the hard work, training, and teamwork of our outstanding emergency response teams. Our staff is confident, prepared, and ready to act quickly in the event of a cardiac emergency.
A special thank you to Nurse Shaterrica Conway at Robinson High School and Nurse Tora Hamilton at the Freshman Campus for leading the charge and building such incredible response teams.
The safety and well being of our students, staff, and community will always be our top priority. 💛 #ProjectADAM #SenatorPride #HeartMonth #PCSSD #JoeTRobinson

Our maintenance and transportation teams have worked diligently for several days removing snow and ice at our facilities, as well as assessing neighborhood routes for our buses. We have identified several bus routes that will be impacted due to lingering hazardous road conditions. A separate communication will be shared at approximately 6 p.m. for families on impacted bus routes. All other transportation routes will operate normally. Thank you for your incredible support and patience during this latest round of winter weather.

All PCSSD schools and district offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 28, due to hazardous road and weather conditions. All events and activities are canceled or will be rescheduled. We will continue to provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your continued support of PCSSD.

Coach Gilliland’s Biology students brought anatomy and engineering together by building cardboard hands using straws for bones and string for tendons. By pulling the strings, students modeled how muscles contract to move joints, just like in the human body. The project highlighted the Flexor Digitorum, the most powerful and bulky muscle in the forearm, which is responsible for bending the fingers. RHS students demonstrated how this muscle pulls on tendons in the forearm to move the finger bones, turning a complex concept into an interactive learning experience. #GoSenators #WeAreTheSenators #PCSSDproud
