Students from Mills University Studies AVID class visited College Station Elementary Monday for their third "AVID buddies" session. This week's topic focused on team building as the groups worked together to solve a silent maze. Afterwards, the students read an article and worked to mark the text together.

DESE is recognizing 3 PCSSD schools for their improvements from 2022 to 2023. College Station Elementary, Robinson High School, and DRIVEN Virtual Academy were each named as a “School on the Move Toward Excellence” based on student achievement and growth in English Language Arts and mathematics as well as other measures of school performance.
