Happy Diwali! Diwali is India's biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. #pcssdproud #serveall

Last week, Lawson Elementary hosted "The Fourth Wall." This arts ensemble programming engages students with classical performance connoisseurs through a hybrid of the performing arts in which musicians are also actors and dancers. The ensemble performed at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts over the weekend as well. Way to go, students!
