Congrats to our choir students from MAUMELLE and ROBINSON HIGH who made the National American Choral Directors Association Honor Choir. This is an incredible feat! This year there were over 5,000 students who auditioned to get one of over 1,200 placements. #pcssdproud #serveall

Our seniors had the chance to meet with an admissions representative from University of Arkansas at Little Rock and University of Central Arkansas this week. This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn more about the admissions process at both schools! Thank you, Trojans and Bears!

We are so excited to announce Jorge Riley was selected to represent Maumelle High at the 2025 National ACDA Conference as part of the 11-12 SATB Chorus!! Over 5,000 applicants auditioned for one of 1,200 chorus opportunities across 5 Honor Choirs. During his 7 years in Maumelle Choirs, he was a 6-time All Region Choir participant in Region 2, an All State Choir participant in 2024, and selected to participate in 2 ARACDA Summer Honor Choirs. In addition, he performs and rehearses weekly with Una Voce, a student community chorus at Wildwood. All while holding down a steady job and maintaining a fantastic GPA!

Junior ambassador, Reihanna Chatmon, was a special guest this morning at the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce. She attended with board member Michele Beasley of Telcoe Federal Credit Union to learn more about how the Chamber helps attract and retain employers in central Arkansas. Reihanna is a Telcoe-Hornet Branch student worker at Maumelle High School.

Our very own Marlee Conley is part of the new LPN program through METRO Little Rock that would allow her to purse her LPN upon high school graduation. She's one of 14 Metro students who attend Baptist Health every afternoon to work toward this license. Yesterday, Principal Dr. Nick Farr attended a press conference for the program along with Marlee. Keep up the good work, Marlee!
