ALE students in the Maumelle Construction and Water Distribution pathway learned how water meters work thanks to the Central Arkansas Water (CAW) Distribution and Customer Service department. They brought a set up that included an analog and a digital meter, showing students how to read the meter to know if there is a water leak. Students used a device to read a meter in a box that was flooded with murky water. The CAW volunteers also talked about their job duties and answered questions from students and staff.
