Robinson High CTE Department's Business, Marketing, and JAG classes completed an amazing two-day Mock Interview Event! Over 22 professionals each day from Entergy, Arkansas Economics, ARDOT, Arkansas Securities, Little Rock Water Reclamation, AR Department of Education, TRiO Educational Opportunity Center, and the US Army volunteered their time to help our students sharpen their interview skills.
The students met with a professional at their scheduled time with their resumes and cover letters, dressed appropriately, went through the interview process, and received grades based on a rubric. Students gained invaluable experience practicing for real-world interviews, learning how to present themselves with confidence, and getting feedback from industry experts.
A HUGE thank you to all the professionals for investing in our student’s futures and helping them take another step toward their career goals!
It's Boss's Day! Thanks to all the outstanding leaders across PCSSD! Did you know Boss’s Day was initiated by a State Farm Insurance employee in Illinois in 1958? October 16 was chosen to coincide with her father’s birthday, who was also her boss.

During ArkCDA Region 2 All-Region Choir auditions on Saturday (Oct. 12), our RHS Choir had a recording-breaking day:
🎵41 students auditioned
🎵29 students who were selected to the All-Region Choir
🎵16 scored in the top twenty chairs, making them eligible to audition for the All-State Choir in February
All of these stats are the most in program history!
We are so very proud of all of our students who took the opportunity to try their best to make the choir. And a huge congratulations to our students who made All-Region! Everyone has worked so hard to prepare, and we are super proud of the progress that our students are making.
