
Mikki Young from SYLVAN HILLS HIGH has won first place in the Congressional Art Competition for Arkansas District 2. She will receive two Southwest tickets to Washington, DC this summer to attend a reception, and her painting will hang in Washington for a year where it will be seen by tens of thousands of people.

Pulaski County Counselors Association is planning a summer book drive that will directly benefit our students that may need extra support for summer literacy.
We are asking families to donate gently used books now through May 12 to your school counseling office. Books of any genre are accepted as they will be distributed to children of all ages in our District.


Today is Arbor Day. The Arbor Day Foundation encourages everyone to plant a tree, find a local tree planting event, or donate to programs to ensure trees continue to be put in the ground.
