Congratulations to the teacher and the students of the month for March! This month, Ms. Parker was nominated by students for this honor. As one said, "Ms. Parker has made me feel like I have a safe spot in school. I don't even have her class and she still reaches out to me about every event." Another student stated, "She's a good teacher because she helps me with anything I need help on." The students this month are nominated by teachers. Here are the statements made about them in the nomination process! Christopher Llamas, 9th grade: Chris is the best student behaviorally, academically, and socially. He is determined and disciplined to do the right thing even if others are not. Chris is sweet and always in a great mood. Jiovanni Martinez, 10th grade: Jiovanni has maintained As and Bs this school year, he rarely misses school, and he recently scored the highest level - level 4 - on the winter ATLAS interim assessment. He is such a hard-working student! Shirley Velasquez-Gonzalez, 11th grade: Shirley embodies the BLAZE standards: she is actively involved in school activities and extracurriculars, she strives for academic excellence, and she is always respectful and inclusive of all her teachers and peers! Kearlena Collins, 12th grade: Kearlena asks questions to aid her understanding and clarify points of confusion. She is polite, considerate, hard-working, and always helpful. She will be so successful in life because of these wonderful characteristics!
