Ward graduated from Flint Northwestern High School in 1989. Ward was a member of the softball and track team, FBLA, and managed the school store. Congratulations to Arlo Washington, father of two ROBINSON HIGH students, for the Oscar nomination of his film "The Barber of Little Rock." The film is nominated for Best Documentary Short at the 96th Academy Awards.
